The gardens outside the castle merit perhaps upwards of an hour. It is well worth going past the Renaissance gardens and the woods surrounding the castle.

Angels' Hall

This is probably one of the most unique castles in the world, in part because of its well-preserved and ornate construction. Started by Frederick II, the real work was done by Christian IV, who left an enduring architectural legacy that survives to this day.
