 | Bali Things To Do | Tips 1 - 10 of 93 | | Popular Things To Do | Other Things To Do Tips | All Tips (93) Treating yourself to a massage while in Bal, is a must. Some spas are great! But what if you want to indulge in your own private settings? It is not recommended that you just take anyone into your room. So I pass on to you the contact of a massager known within the ex-pat community and that you can trust to enter your hotel room or home. Susy…… 1 hour massages run for 70,000 Rp but if you plan to have several done you can negotiate the price. Enjoy!!! Leave a Comment Phone: 081 239 45 917 |
On the day of my birthday in Bali, I decided to treat myself with the gift of a session of yoga at sunset. Having recently arrived, I did not know of too many classes. But on a prior evening while watching the sunset at the Legian Hotel in Seminyak, one of the staff mention that yoga classes were held there. And so I made a date with myself to go. The times and days of classes occasionally change, so checking with the schedule is recommended. Classes including taxes are 60,500 Rp Wayan Murcus Wistika, is the teacher there. He teaches Ashtanga & Ivengar Yoga, to the guests and outsiders are welcomed too. At the current time, morning and evening sessions are offered. He is also available outside of his time scheduled giving classes at the Legian for private sessions of 1hour at 100,000 Rp for as many people desired which, may divide this fee. After attending classes in various parts of the world with various different teachers, I found Marcus to be not only very conscious & aware but an excellent teacher as well. I loved this places. I guess we took a long time to get here as we had to drive through the narrow winding roads to get to the top here to Lake Bratan. The weather was nice and cool and the view was excellent as the lake is srrounded by inactive volcanoes with this low lying clouds. Lake Bratan has these beautiful Hindu temples along the water. They have a very beautiful botanical garden and well here you also have the options of taking a boat ride and or paragliding and so forth on the lake. Well the way up here you have restaurants and the view of the surroundings is beautiful as you have those rices fields going down the mountains. Leave a Comment |
This is a beautiful place ,these ancient Hindu Temples are on the edge of some seriously high cliffs. Aparently Uluwatu is some new discovery for surfer`s but I`ve checked it out and it does`nt look too safe to surf here as the waves is excellent just you have a problem of the rocks. One major problem here is the monkeys so please take care of your stuff. I would defintely recommend for you keep you sunglasses safely away. I saw one monkey biting someones sunglasses and when he found out it was not edible after it was broken ,the monkey just through it away. Definitely worth the visit as the view here is spectacular. I came here to Tanah Lot as I heard of the beautiful temples and the sunset. Anyway I just got a a glimpse of the sunset as the sun was setting and got a bit of the nice sunset everytime the clouds moved aside and then covered the sun again. Anyway the temples here is beautiful. It looks like the sea washed the land away around the temples and just kept the temples standing. The main temple here is Putra Tanah Lot , the sand here is almost black for some reason and you have the sea that`s crashing on the rocks all around Putra Tanah Lot. There is other temples on narrow cliff`s and the view here is absolutely beautiful. If you go further you can walk your way to the waterfall there. Here is also a whole bunch of stalls here so you can get some nice soverniors as well as you walk down towards Tanah Lot. Leave a Comment |
Taman Ayun meaning beautiful garden and beautiful garden it is. Taman Ayun has beautiful courtyards that aparently contains the shrines both of the royal family ancestral shrines and shrines to the major deities and was also the main temple for the ancient kingdom of Mengwi. I guess if you coming back from Lake Bratan its worth the stop. Leave a Comment |

I went to Ubud from Taman Ayun and stopped at the Monkey Forest. They not joking when they say monkey forest as this places is swarming with monkeys. I think half of these monkeys here is all carrying babies ;0P There is a whole bunch of do`s and don`ts on boards when you enter the monkey forest so do pay attention to it and please look after your belongings as these monkey are mischievious. The forest is very nice and you can even buy banana`s at the entrance in which you can feed the monkeys. Leave a Comment |

I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Bali as something that has to be done ;OP Its cheap and its the Best Full Body Massage I`ve had in a long time. I wish the prices could be the same at home then I would go for a massage every week ;OP I found a plce in Kuta that was quiet cheap as well ,its situated next to the Matahari. The price there was IDR 75 000 for 1 hour and a IDR 100 000 for 1.5 hours. So what you waiting for ;-) Leave a Comment |
