Olu Deniz is arguably the most famous and picturesque beach in Turkey. The beach is surrounded by a calm lagoon and enjoys a backdrop of imposing mountains. It is located close to the town of Hisaronu and is easily reached by Dolmus from other towns and resorts in the area. The location is superb and the sea is warm and clear. Only the sand is a little disappointing; it is a mixture of sand, shale and pebbles. This short video was filmed during our visit in April 2010.
