Protests in Buenos Aires. We were walking near the parliment area of the city where we were seeing police in riot gear everywhere on all streets nearby barracading the streets and turning away traffic. We made it to this street corner where I shot this short video and we saw the protests being set up and organized. ...Apparently these protests happen frequently and are in protest against different things including the government (including President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner) and economic problems of the country. Just after the video had ended they were launching fireworks and began throwing firecrackers around and into the crowd of people. We got about 3 feet from a firecracker and then turned away and left.
