A private little ship (Beauport) sea journey from La Paz to San Carlos, Mexico. There have been many stopovers, but I only included one from Puerto Ballandra at Isla Carmen. It is an isolated, unpopulated coastal area with eight beaches, an interior salt lagoon and a rock formation called "El Hongo" (the mushroom) which has become the symbol of La Paz (Baja California Sur).

The rest of the video is about San Carlos, which is a beautiful beachfront subdivision within the port city of Guaymas, in the northern state of Sonora in Mexico. It is noted for the exceptional clarity and warmth of the ocean water in its shallow bays. It lies on the body of water known as the Gulf of California or Sea of Cortez. Given the size of the city, with nearly 7,000 inhabitants.

There are also many Americans and Canadians that live in San Carlos during the winter as the summer months are very hot and humid. There are many opportunities to fish, scuba dive, and relax on the beach.
