interesting decor, many rooms, cheap beer, good tunes. sounds a lot like szimpla? yeah, same owners. so, quickly the same crowd of rowdy tourists and belligerent stag parties showed up. but it's still better than szimpla. worth a look for sure.

Preparations for March 15th celebrations the day before. Hungarians are staunchly proud and celebrate past wars and battles for independence.Hello, Wake up! Hungary has been free for 19 years now, but they are more obsessed with the past than the future sadly.Many still dream of the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.But seeing all the people dress up in battle gear gives an insight into how things were.

Yet another year passes....Budapest used to be a real anti-climax, but now they actually organize something in Vorősmarty Ter which is great.Lots of folklore stuff and bands from Transylvania..
