Previously, I've seen this Merry Go Round in a small square near the Donizetti Statue. Christmas 2013 it was near the Porte Nuova.
Magnificent small library - never been repainted - still original colours. Note the 3d effect in the paintings on walls. Ticket is combined with the main Dumo of Siena - well worth it.
This was probably the highlight of my tour of Siena - the magnificent marble floor and coloured stone pillars and the dome of the Siena Catherdral (Dumo).

This short video was taken from the seafront at Civitavecchia as we were walking from our cruise ship to the railway station at the end of our Mediterranean cruise in October 2012. The wind was blowing and the waves were crashing over the sea wall. It's no wonder the final leg of our cruise had been a little turbulent!
