Djemaa el Fna is the main square of Marrakech. It is a hive of activity by day and night. During the day, orange juice carts and spice stalls sell their goods and all sorts of characters put on performances and attempt to sell their services (snake charmers, monkey handlers, henna tattooists, storytellers, acrobats, dancers, jugglers, fortune tellers, shoe shiners, dentists). By night, dozens of food stalls are set up in the centre of the square, selling grilled meats, shrimps, snails, tajines and some very addictive ginseng and cinnamon tea! This video was taken during a visit to Marrakech in December 2009/January 2010.
