Ants thought they would move into my mates house while I was there. No chance, the dog jumped up on a chair and we used the ant removal equipment to get rid.

Perth beaches are amazing, and for hundreds of miles up and down the coast, maybe even thousands of miles, there are some fantastic beaches.

Perth on a budget miTravel Date Added: Dec 7, 2011

The best things in life are (almost!) free, and that is certainly the case if you head to Perth in Western Australia.
As this video shows, you don’t need a bulging wallet to enjoy what the city has to offer.

Ready to paint the town red?

Postcard-perfect paradise by day, Perth transforms into a spirited party town after the sun goes down.

The streets come alive with music and colour as droves flock to pumping clubs and pubs. Following a recent change in licensing laws there has also been a big rise in the number of small bars and this is really captivating the imagination of the Perth nightlife cognoscenti.

    Main places to go include:

Perth CBD (particularly the West End)
    Swan River (South Perth)
    Northbridge (Perth’s cultural hub)
Subiaco (10 minutes west of the Perth CBD)
Fremantle (a bustling port city is about 30 minutes drive south of Perth City)
Victoria Park (just across the river from the CBD)

However, as this video shows, don’t forget to check out the night delights of Mount Lawley, about 10 minutes north east of the Perth CBD, where you’ll find a precinct jammed with a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

A friend of mine from New Zealand with Cerebral Palsy would like to house swap for a short time with someone (who also has CP) in Germany. She posted the following message on a Facebook group wall:

    "Hi all,

I am interested in organizing an exchange with a young German person who has CP, or at least get to know someone who lives in Germany with CP. Please view the discussion topic 'Guten Tag - Germans out there - I need your help!' for further details.

Also request me as a friend, if you like, and email me at shadow4stuart@hotmail.com.
    Cheers,

    Erin"

Leafy Sea Dragon at AQWA Kathrin_E Date Added: May 27, 2008

Among all those strange creatures that live in the oceans, this is one of the weirdest. The Leafy Sea Dragon, a close relative of the sea horses, looks like a broken algae twig which has come to life.
