It shows part of our tuk tuk ride from outside our hotel, Casa Colombo, to the shopping district of Pettah.

This part of the ride saw us start off on busy Galle Road, before turning off onto the coastal road, following the train tracks and passing Bambalapitiya railway station.

This short video was taken on board a local train from Mount Lavinia to Colombo Fort during our visit to Sri Lanka in March 2014.

The 25 minute train ride cost a mere 15 Rupees (£0.07) per person and afforded us some wonderful coastal views from the open doorways.
