This short video was taken during our visit to Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka in March 2014.We hired a tuk tuk and driver for a day at a cost of 5,000 Rupees (£25) in order to see various sights in the area.Travelling in a tuk tuk is great fun - even if it involves the occasional scary moment as the drivers insist on weaving between traffic and overtaking on the wrong side of the road!

This short video was taken during our visit to Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka in March 2014.It shows a small section of Hikkaduwa's long sandy beach. This short video was taken during our visit to Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka in March 2014.A number of large sea turtles could usually be found in the shallow waters of the beach in front of the Chaaya Tranz Hikkaduwa Hotel. Each morning, crowds of people would gather to feed seaweed to the turtles. Enterprising locals would get up early, bag the seaweed up and sell it to tourists.
