Frog Legs These are raw frog legs for sale at a modern "Hyper Market" at the New World Shopping Mall. |
Fast-food, Chinese style This was a fast-food place inside the Beijing Oriental Plaza shopping mall. Not sure what kind of birds are on the stick. |

Four-sided bean This dish is made from a unique four-sided bean that I was told is only found on Hainan Island. This is the same island where the U.S. spy plane landed. Perhaps they were just looking for this bean. |

There's a fish under that bamboo lid. The fish was wrapped in this bamboo container along with various spices and other flavorings. |
