Got 2 of the main objects...the mill didn t fit through the door.
These are my clogs which I actually wear every time I am in the garden.
My daughter is shocked many a time for I do walk them in the streets ...

Belgian fries at Groninger market

At almost every market in The Netherlands one can buy the famous Belgian fries, named so because they are not as skinny as our Dutch ones.
I do not particarly like them but there are many that do.

The Hague 17 - 19 January

Is Holland going through an identity crisis? The Image of Holland is the theme of the eight edition of Winternachten. A festive search for the true nature of The Netherlands, with more than sixty authors, musicians and stand-up comedians from The Netherlands, Flanders, Indonesia, South-Africa, Surinam and the Antilles.

On Friday- and Saturday evening there are many performances and films in three venues in one theatre. On Sunday afternoon writers from The Netherlands and abroad sing their newly created national anthems for our country.
New this year is a series of debates. Extra reasons for a warm Winternachten stay in The Hague.
