Supported by over 11,000,000 Cubans, TEAM CUBA will compete in the Olympics behind a flag of white, representing the purity of independence, red, the blood of struggle and the three blue stripes, representing the three divisions of the island of old. When we are not training for our events, we will be reaching into our suitcases to trade cigars, citrus, coffee and sugar with the spectators. The transactions during the Olympic Flea Market, will be protected by our always strong boxing team.
Most people know that Cuba is known for its strong performance in contact sports but we will also do well in athletics. We have a great star in the 110 hurdles, Dayron Robles, who brought home a gold medal from the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Side Events...After the Swap Meet we have challenged the Greek team to an arm wrestling championship. The loser must cook food that is famous from their country. WW ARE NOT PLANNING TO LOSE..., but if we do, those Greek athletes will get a real lesson in Cuban cuisine. Roasted Pork in Mojo Sauce, Red and Black Beans, Beef Roast stuffed with Chorizo and Eggs, Tamales, Pastelitos, and Croquetas,
For a special finish we will use plantains, flambe'. and for quenching their thirst they will get Cuba Libre, Rum and Cola, Cuban Beer and Mojitos. No one will leave hungry from our table!

We will have music presented by one of our very famous Social Clubs, Buena Vista. Everyone will cha-cha-cha, samba, salza, mambo and rumba those calories away dancing all night long to Cuban jazz.
