"Trekki" - 1st July - 2011

How to find a VT friend that I hadn't met before?

Well, look out for a person jumping in the air, waving like mad in the parking lot!

This was how my husband and I met Ingrid [Trekki]

It was so nice of her to offer to show us around her beautiful countryside.

First things first though! A walk through the beautiful Michelstadt, and morning tea at her favorite Backeri!
I think a kilo of weight went on, but it was worth it.

Back to her Car, and then we began and our non-stop talking journey to our Hotel in Bad Kreuznach.
We did stop a little bit, that was to get out the car to enjoy some view's.

In Bad Kreunznach, we went to Dinner in a lovely Greek Restaurant.
It was so nice to have Ingrid to read the Menu and order, and what a great choice she made!.....About the best food on our travel's, and my first Greek meal, and it won't be my last!

"Ranger49" - 13th July - 2011

Dee [balhannah] & Barbara [Ranger49]

Barbara "Ranger49" suggested that we meet at the "Cripple Creek Inn."
I had already read her review on this Inn and thought it pretty good, so this was where we met.

My husband & I were first to arrive, and were given a seat by the window. It wasn't long before Barbara and her husband arrived. I new it was her on first sight. She was just how I imagined!

We all hit if off straight away, how we ate our meal, I don't know as the talk was non- stop. I didn't want to leave the lovely couple, as we felt like we had been friends for-ever!

I just wish we lived closer!

Thanks John & Barbara for a most wonderful, enjoyable time together!

"Brittania" - July 15th - 2011

Colin [Brittania] & Dee [balhannah]

Colin, how nice of him it was to pick us up from our Hotel in York.

Once again, I recognized Colin by his photo, and was introduced to his friend, "Maureen."

Unfortunately, the Inn Colin had picked out was full, so we had to find another. Lucky, he was the driver and knew his way around. We found another Inn, which was old and the meals were great!

Colin showed us around York at night, so grateful to him for doing this, as we wouldn't have seen it by ourselves. He gave us helpful tips on transport, which we put to use.

We had a wonderful time with the pair of them, one we will remember for ever.

Thanks ever so much for going to the trouble to meet us!

"LONDON MEETING" - 18th July - 2011
