The oracle of the dead,this site is found not far from Preveza,it is said to have a lot of snakes around this site i saw none on my visit.


The approach to the site,it dates from the 8th century bc,people would come here, from all over greece to communicate with the souls of there loved ones in hades

All around the sanctuary,you will see lots of jars and vessels most of them broken.in this picture you will also note that there is a nice view of some of the polygonal walling

    Nice ruins. The chapel is also nice. I have always liked this town, but had no idea there were any ruins there.
