The giant spade in the Goffertpark (2006) - to commemorate the manual labour that was required to create the park in the 1930s - inside the football stadium the lowered football pitch was dug out entirely by hand, and so was the nearby amphitheatre ; the sand was transported by means of wheelbarrows and used to throw up several hills all around the park ...
