Toy worlds, as I'd like to call them, were popular and sold well, it seems, because the catalogues of the traders were full of such ensembles.
There was the building, its surroundings with gardens and fences and whatever, figures of humans and animals, little tools, furniture and whatever item was needed for the respective topic.

The last three photos show three of the five rooms in the same precious doll house. Such toys were costly and treasured high. The parents kept them secured and children (read: girls) were allowed to play with them only on special occasions and under supervision.
