What's a Casado?

What is a Casado indeed... The Casado in Costa Rica means delicious! Not really, but it is a tasty meal and eaten by about every Tico on a daily basis.

The Casado consists of Beans, Rice, Plantains, a Salad of some sort, usually another random side dish or 2 and a protein of typically chicken, fish, beef, or pork.

Every Casado is a little different from the next but they will become very familiar in all their many sizes and ingredients should you spend any time here.
