"Some favourite pics." Personal Page by tropicrd

Pics that I like around Maryborough QLD.

A lovely Park to stroll around and to take pics, take a look at the sausage tree behind the Courthouse and the huge fig tree etc.Anyway this is dedicated to putting up some pics I took around Maryborough.

Queens Park

Children love riding the little train around Queens Park.

Queens Park Rotunda.

Maryborough's Cenotaph

A beautiful monument to commemorate those who lost their lives in the wars.

Arms holding up the branches

I really like this pic.
This branch on the huge fig tree in Queens Park was so heavy it was in danger of breaking off so these arms were built to hold it up.
It is a favourite tree for children to climb and play in.

Picnic with the wallabies

Over the Mary River toward Tin Can Bay,turn left after the bridge and follow the road down beside the river and you will come across paddocks and clearings where you can picnic and watch the wallabies.

Donkey farm

Down by the river on the south side you will come across a donkey farm.
They love getting visitors,it is on an unmade road but quite drivable in a standard car.Ask the locals and they will direct you.

One of the oldest

This is one of the oldest queenslanders in Maryborough and is used by a the community for information and other different things.
