My fifth meeting with a VT-friend here in Iceland was on February 4th, 2010 when Barbara came for a visit. We met at her hotel and took a stroll in the center of Reykjavík. Seeing that it was freezing and windy we stopped at 2 cafés.

We went shopping on Laugavegur our main shopping street down-town. Barbara bought lovely winter boots in Skólavörðustígur.

Then we had dinner in the very lovely Lækjarbrekka restaurant, where Barbara tried whale meat, like so many of the VT-ers who come for a visit here.

In the evening we went on a Northern light tour which actually took us to Seljalandsfoss waterfall hunting for northern lights, but unfortunately there were no Northern lights this night.

The day after we met up again and picked Barbara up from her hotel and hit the sales at Kringlan mall and went for a coffee there.

We went to the Saga museum in Perlan.

We then drove to Perlan Kolaportið flea-market as well. We ended up visiting 1 café and 2 restaurants that day plus a visit to Perlan and Saga-museum.

We drove down-town and went to Kolaportið flee-market and to 2 restaurants.

In the evening we went to Geysir restaurant and then said our good-byes as Barbara had booked a hotel by the Blue lagoon.

It was a lovely VT-meet :)
