Loch Sport is about 250 km east of Melbourne. It is a small town/village sandwiched between the Ninety Mile Beach - on the south side (linked by a causeway across Lake Reeve) and Lake Victoria to the north. Lake Reeve and Lake Victoria are part of the Gippsland Lakes system.
It is an ideal place for motor boating, sailing, lake and surf fishing - in fact all water sports. Very relaxing, its the perfect place to "get away from it all".
At the east end of the town, is the entrance to the Lakes National Park, where emus, kangaroos, wombats and a range of native birds and other animals abound.

Loch Sport is roughly half way along the "Ninety-mile" beach, which runs for actually longer than 100 miles from about Lakes Entrance to the east and Woodside Beach to the west - In Victoria's south and central Gippsland regions.
It is mostly in its natural state with little development, and popular with surfers and surf fishing enthusiasts.
