Inside & Out! [Luxor-Paris-Caesars-Mirage]

The Luxor: Inside & Out

There are many Las Vegases -- including several where people actually live -- but on "the strip" there are two easily seen. The grandiose thematic kitsch of the outsides of the casino-hotels and the INSIDE! [which is also grandiose thematic kitsch]

PARIS: Inside & Out

Next time I'm in Paris I'm going to look under Pont Alexander for slot machines.
The outside is actually a nice post-modern collage of Paris icons. The inside is much less successful I think.

Caesars Palace: Inside & Inside!

This one is pretty ugly outside -- which isn't to say tasteless inside. The Trojan Horse is part of the facade for the FAO Schwarz store in the forum shops.
You can dine under some rather excessive columnage at Bertolinis!

THE MIRAGE: Inside & Out

One of the highlights of the Mirage remains the tropical forest.
The Mirage at night is a spectacular view! [Taken from the Venetian]

Nice tips, it looks like the Venetian is a must. It is nice to see someone who isn't afraid to say the Ceasar's Palace is over blown---very helpful, think we will skip that one.
