London-based VTer Jo104 organised a VT meeting with a difference - a treasure hunt that took us on a winding trail through London, searching for the answers to her clues and enjoying some of the sights on the way. Even though I've lived here all my life, I still found corners I have never visited or details I hadn't previously spotted. We had a great time searching out the answers, though we had to go a quite a pace to get round it all.
Oh, and my team won, which made the day even better - thanks team :-)
We met up in a coffee bar to get our directions from Jo ...
... who was very well-organised and had planned everything very carefully to ensure that the day would run smoothly
As well as solving the clues we were challenged to take certain photos en route, such as this one "sitting in a green seat"
Our VAs and Jo joined us for lunch
When our legs and feet became weary we took to the tube, but still pressed on towards victory ;-)
Finally we all arrived at the rendezvous point in Hyde Park, and revived ourselves with a picnic. Unfortunately the rain also arrived, but too late to spoil a really fun day - and a very novel VT meeting.
Jo - you may just have started a new trend, I think :-))
