The 2009 commemoration of Dr. Rizal's birthday He was born on 19 June 148 years ago. His legacy is kept alive by dedicated Rizalineans - The Order of Rizal Knights and the Ladies of Rizal. The following pictures were of the celebration on 20 June 2009 in Wilhemsfeld, Germany attended by the Burghermeister, the knights and the ladies, and friends of the Chapter, some coming from as far away as Belgium and the Netherlands. |
|  | Tinikling Known as the bamboo dance, where dancers skip in and out of the clicking bamboo poles. This particular performance was by a young boy and a girl. Quite impressive. |
| | Igorot Dance Igorot is one of the indigenous peoples in the Philippines originating from the mountain province. The dancer supposedly balances on her head a stack of three clay pots. However, this dancer used pots that are actually fashioned from cloth material. |
| | Muslim Dance The Philippine Muslims live in the southern island of Mindanao, from where this particular dance originated. |
