Daniel is my first VT meeting and friend.
I was living in London when I met Daniel - he was living in Madrid by that time (2004). As I came to visit my family, we took the chance in meeting in "real" so we met at the National geographic bar in Madrid. I was surprise of the amount things in common and his news of VT attracted me.
Since then we keep in touch often and we see each other when there is a chance for both.
Thanks Daniel, for all the good moments we shared.

* Through Daniel I have also met other VT friends as SirRichard, AGarcia, Redang with whom we met time to time and in any special occasions always expending good time and talking about our past and future travelings...

Joaquin, me, Jen and Chancay

SirRichard, Jenniferchin & Chancay (Madrid, 2006)

I met Joaquin (SirRichard) through Daniel and I think it happened in one of VT Madrid meetings they organized between 2004 and 2005. It was when I moved to Madrid again and in that meeting we join a big group of people sharing the love for traveling... was a nice experience!

I keep on touch with Joaquin time-to-time, because it is nice to know what is going on in our lives and he is one of those persons that are full of passion about traveling alone and watercolor diaries, which I found really "pieces of ART". He is a great painter :))) (i have a couple of his paintings at home, nice ones).

Through Joaquin I met Jenniferchin and Chancay when they stopped at Madrid in 2006. We had some tapas and nice laughs. Was really nice :)

Inuit (Israel, 2006)

I met David (Inuit) randomly in VT before going to Israel in October 2006.
Was a new experience for me going to the East for my first time and I was happy because I always feel attracted to the Easter cultures.
David was very polite and generous with me during my stay and we enjoyed some time together and had very nice laughs. He is very unique and passionate about many things, specially photography and cooking and Spanish music!

Mark, Anna and me having a proper Italian lunch

Pallina (Bologna, 2009)

One day by chance during 2008, leaving a message to David, I notice the presence of Anna (Pallina) and some emails later I reckon the amount of similar interests we could share.
We have been emailing each other all this time until April 2009 in which we meet during my Italian trip with Mark, my partner. We met at the Bologna´s train station and she was kind to us in showing us the most beautiful points of this lively city. Also we had a proper Italian lunch in one Italian Restaurant (off of the tourist traps) which a friend of her recommend it.

Anna has been very generous to me since we met (around March 2008) and she collaborated in my collection of "The little Prince book" (adding an old version 1965, to my collection). THANKS A LOT ANNA ;)

We also share the passion for books and reading and time to time we pointed out our best ones. Recently, in our "real meeting" in Bologna, I gave her one of my faves books (Snow by Maxence Fermine) as a present, and it was nice coincidence as she recently started to knew about the writer and also read the book one week before me giving to her... Fantastic isn´t it?

OriettaIT and Painterdave (Italy, 2009)

I drop a message to Orietta (OriettaIT) in her Venice page for some of the good tips I found for my Italian trip last April-May 2009. After a couple of exchanges I was happy to know that she was also a good friend of Anna (Pallina) non only in VT but also in real life :)

Life is funny sometimes because it makes things happen to meet nice people along.
Thanks to the fact that me and my partner lost the train going from Venice to Milan during our Italian trip, we ended up being the guest of Orietta and Dave for one night. Everything pan up very well and we shared really great time together, ice-creams, origins, trips and a wonderful breakfast with the good company of Orietta and Dave (painterdave).
