Playing Boules in Abergavenny Castle

The twinning of Abergavenny with the French town of Beaupréau plus the popularity of France as a holiday destination has resulted in the formation of a local Petanque Team. It is very easy to finds a set of boules here on the UK - we always carry two sets on holiday with us - and lighter-weight plastic sets are used with great enjoyment by small children on beaches and on boules alleys.
