this is a mixture of respect & faith - no matter how old the man is, he still has the urge to perform his prayers at the mosque |

this ottoman imperial mosque was constructed in 1597, situated just beside the start of the bridge on the other side of the road. from sultanahmet it is the third stop of the tramvay.
get off at the eminonu tram station and go down the pedestrian underpass and you'll emerge either on the ferry port or the yeni cami. |
