If I hadn't been born in Kalamazoo, I most likely would have wanted it on my Bucket List. Let me say this, Kalamazoo is a great place to be "from".
When my Mom was in California with my Dad during WWII the song, "I've got a gal in Kalamazoo" was popular. I'll bet she thought that was written about her.
And, when my husband and I lived in Kalamazoo, we wanted to see Augusta, Georgia and the golf course - Wow! How lucky can we get? We have lived here in Augusta as long as we lived in Kalamazoo.
Bill and I have shared our adventure for almost 45 years. Bill is a great gardener. He enjoys growing fresh food for our meals and he also enjoys growing roses and landscaping areas around our home. I enjoy cooking and recreating dishes that we have experienced on our travels. |
