Adventures of Leonardo Llama

Leonardo's Travels around Peru

Peru - His Birthplace

Leonardo Llama was born in the Andes Mountains, near Pisac, Peru. After leaving Pisac, he travelled by bus to Cuzco, then train up to the majestic Machu Picchu. After a few more days, he had the chance to travel on a boat on Lake Titicaca, where he earned his sea legs. His last major stop in his home country was in the Colca Canyon where he saw the graceful Andean condors. Despite his love of being a Peruvian llama, he was excited to venture out into the world, so he hopped on a plane bound for the United States. He was quite nervous about flying for his first time, but enjoyed the ride.

Monterrey, Mexico

Leonardo recently took a short trip to Monterrey, Mexico where he mainly hung out in a plush hotel room enjoying the 30th Floor view, the satellite TV, and the yummy room service. He also walked around the small airport, looking mainly at the duty free selections. He hopes to get back to Mexico to see more of it.

Dublin, Ireland

Leonardo popped over to Dublin, Ireland for a few days in May09. He found Dublin to be a fine little city and the Irish friendly. He had his fill of Guinness and cider, and even at Dublin's oldest chipper, Leo Burdock's. He was a bit camera shy on a day trip out to the Blarney Castle (he was hungover from the Guinness the night prior), so no photos there. He did enjoy it though.
