Travel sight gags bring a smile or laugh

by melosh - last update: Jan 31, 2009

Transcendental phone communication

Spotted in Shoalin near Luyong, China. A small Buddha statue on top of each phone kiosk.

I laughed out loud but I did not have the Chinese language to explain to anyone, so I just walked on with a smile on my face.

Bob, Really enjoyed your account of your return trip to Liberia. Some parallels with my own experience - I met my wife whilst teaching in Botswana back in the 80s. We've yet to return there though. Thanks for some superb insights, Mike
