| | San Gemignano. March 2005 4pm, clear, 70F, on my 2d cup of cap, listening to heavenly harp music in the courtyard of the castle in SG. Suddenly I hear lofty lyrics; I'd assumed it was a recording. I turned to see this beautiful harpist accompanying herself. Can life get any sweeter? I immediately snapped up her CD, "Altissima Luce." | | Fountain of Trevi. March 2005 Hey, I've lived all my life in New York City, a place teeming with people breaking your chops, but puh-leeeze! It took me over 60 seconds to reject each and every lousy photographer, at The Fountain, who blocked my path and demanded to take my picture. I had to cut my visit short and move on to the Spanish Steps. I found a more relaxed scene there. Young people were strumming guitars, and there wasn't 1 photog in sight. |
