BIRDS

by balhannah - last update: Nov 30, 2008

Aussie Birds, most are in my garden

Blue-eyed Honeyeater, at my Grevillea flowers
Kookaburras
They laugh loudest and longest morning and late afternoon.
Jabiru in our dam
These are found mainly in the Northern Territory, but a pair turn up every year at our dam and our neighbours dams.
Magpie Geese in our paddock
Magpie Geese are mainly found in large numbers in the Northern Territory. If we have heavy rains, and our paddock floods, the Geese come south and we have them for a little while. Nature certainly knows the Weather!
Pale-headed or Lemon headed Rosella Parrot
Galah, a wet one
Mother Magpie & Baby
Oriole in my tree, we have a pair

Hi Dee - how have you been? Any new travel plans? We've just been spending a few weekends close to home. Looking for someplace for Jan/Feb but everywhere I want to go is too cold. Hope all is well!
