February 5 nights in Dubai with the flight costing me less than GBP34 due to the wonder of frequent flyer miles. Dubai is an expanding emirate with new islands being built off the coast. It was great to see a different side to the world whilst visiting an Islamic country. |
March A week at Kuramathi Blue Lagoon in the Maldives. Great snorkelling and an opportunity to relax and get some reading done. A totally different style of holiday to that which I normally take. |
December Two weeks visiting family and friends in South Africa. I visit every 2.5 to 3 years to visit my father and stepmother and friends. It also gives me an opportunity to have a couple of weeks at a more relaxing pace. |
