I haven't really tried much black and white photography in the past. In the old days of film, it would have meant carrying two cameras or committing to all black and white for a whole reel of film, something I didn't want to do. But with digital you can take the picture and decide afterwards which would look better. Somehow the architecture of New York looks particularly good in black and white (maybe it's all those old movies?) so I gave it a try and was happy with the results. See what you think …
