Nina first big trip: one week in the Dolomiti
mountains to enjoy the good air, panoramas and the sun while mom and daddy could sky....

In april 2007 we did a trip in Ravenna, a nice town on the adriatic sea, 100 km from Bologna and Nina can put for the first time the feet in the sand and salted water...she was 4 month's old.

First flight for Nina, from Bologna to Brindisi where Lore was waiting us with our van full of everything we need, 2 bicycle included, to do a 10 day's in Salento, Puglia region, to discover the beauty of this area...nice sea and wonderfull country...good food! From Brindisi to Lecce, to Otranto, to Santa Maria di Leuca, to Gallipoli........

We continued our holiday for one week in our loved Greece....we get a ferry from Brindisi to Igoumenitsa and after 200 kms we was in Lefkada Island
: a mixture of mediterranean vegetation, from maritim pines, to cypresses to olive trees, from rocky and sandy beaches to big mountains trough a gorgeouse nature......very quiete and peacefull vacation with a incredible little flat 'on the sea'.......Nina enjoyed a lot the warm blue water!

First intercontinental trip to find the warm and the sea!
We where in Fujhaira where Nina liked a lot the good weather, the possibility to run free without shoes, the sand and the sea water and the arab cuisin ( she love falafel, hummus, kofta).....a good stop to our cold winter...and she try also to snorkel!

At the end of July we spent a week in Talamone area, in Tuscany where we find a good accomodation in a Agriturismo, a farm guesthouse, where Nina can enjoy the country and the animals, like horses, cats, dogs, ducks and wild animals like cinghiali ( wild porks ) and daini ( bamby?).
The most interesting beach for us near Talamone is a kite beach where Lorenzo can do kitesurf while me and Nina sunbhating, bathing and play with the sand in a very natural way!

In August Bologna is empty cause everybody are on holiday outside the town...not us!
It's the perfect period to discover the beauty of our city.....we did it again this summer with Nina, biking in the city center.....Here we are in the Santo Stefano Churches, a complex of 7 churches of different ages togheter...with the tomb of the Bologna Saint, San Petronio....this place is so nice and the square in front of the curch is magnificent!

A big 20 days trip in Calabria where we found a perfect accomodation on the beach In Parghelia, 2 km from Tropea, and we did a lot of round trip in the area, like costa Viola ( from Capo Vaticano to Villa San giovanni), BAgnara Calabra, Capo Vaticano, Monte Poro and Serra San Bruno. The last week we moved to the Ionian Coast, from Soverato to Capo Rizzuto e Crotone.
Calabria is a perfect mix of mountain to do tracking, horse riding and green panoramic view to a mervellouse sea, from Costa Viola to Costa degli Dei, the Ionian Coast.
Calabria is also history, archeology and arts....like REggio Calabriaand the Bronzi di Riace.
