My Family

by lynnehamman - last update: Oct 16, 2009

My Rock

MY HUSBAND AND BEST FRIEND
My Husband Richard........the best partner, friend and travelling companion I could ever wish for. He also happens to be a fantastic cook.
Louise in Edinburgh -Jumping for joy, not Norman

The Princess

Our daughter Louise..........She is an architect...........she is bright, articulate, gentle and has given us such joy. She is also very strong willed and independent.
Louise left on 16th August 2009 for a four month jaunt around Europe. She is travelling alone, but is meeting friends in various countries. Lucky girl.I pray that she keeps safe.

My best guy

Our son Nicholas.....He is forging a wonderful career in the IT industry.....He is somewhat shy, but very sweet natured & gentle, and has been the best son ever. He has many interests - scuba diving and free-diving are a passion for him (which is a bit of a worry for me!)
Nick and I share a lot of personality traits. I too am very shy. The photograph was taken while he was diving in Hawaii.

MY BELOVED FAMILY

Loved ones

We have a very close relationship with our children, and are very fortunate to see quite a lot of them, although they now have their own homes.
No longer our fledglings, they must spread their wings and fly. I am so proud of my children, and my husband. I consider myself very blessed.

Loving siblings

Nick and Louise.....taken at a dinner we had together recently.
They are very close, and the best of friends. Nick is very protective of his sister.
Nicholas & Louise-Loving siblings
FATHER & SON

Father and Son

Richard and his Dad.........looking somewhat sad, as it was taken at the airport on the day we departed to come back to Australia from Cape Town.
Dad is coming to Sydney for a visit in June 2009. We are looking forward to having him with us. We are going to take him to the Barrier Reef- he is threatening to take up scuba.(Dad is 88)

Where we live

This is a view from our apartment balcony overlooking Neutral Bay.
We also have a view of the harbour.

COUSINS

Cousins

All the cousins.............Louise & Nick on extreme left & right. A wonderful group of young people, so happy to be together. Living so far away in another country, they seldom see each other. Its a joy to see them all together.

Thank you Lynne for visiting my Atlanta page. Hubby enjoyed visiting the area, but at times it was unnerving for him. He is very much a country boy! Have a lovely day and hope Boris is feeling better.

Thanks for your visit to the boats of Conflans, Lynne. It is nice sometimes to be far from the big city, and yes, me too, I dreamt of living on such a boat.
