| | Historic City of Meknes, Morocco We travelled from Fes to Meknes, only to find they have blocked parts of the medina because of some visiting dignitary, so we didnt get to see Meknes in detail.. Surely one day i'll come and visit Morocco one day to visit her in detail again!

| | Archaeological Site of Volubilis, Morocco The roman empire have travelled far and wide and it even reached into Morocco, that this built Volubilis, that is set on a sloping piece of open land. You get an air of a freshness in springtime as you walk through the ruins... See the well preserved mosaic and the triumpant arc!

| | Medina of Fez, Morocco I really love Fez, the climate is more milder than other parts of Morocco, as it is situated on higher elevation. The people here are more cosmopolitan and the cityscape modern. The medina of Fez, is definitely the masterpiece of the city, boasting a famous traditional tannery. Plus souks, mosques, workshops, restaurants all crammed up in the medina. Once you step into the bustling narrow walkways of Fes, it seems like straight from a movie scene altogether! Will definitely return to this beautiful beautiful place.

| | Alhambra, Generalife and Albayzín, Granada, Spain Alhambra is a very picturesque fort built for the Moorish rulers of Andalusia, now known as Spain. The beautiful palace is adorned with beatiful ornate Islamic motifs, and undeniably one of Spain's top tourist attractions. Don't just expect to get a ticket if you just decide to visit it on the same day. Either you prebook them for hassle free, or line up in the early morning to get them. We missed out on getting tickets when we were there, and then we made a drastic detour change in our itinerary from Granada > Seville > Cordoba > Madrid to Granada > Seville > Cordoba > Granada > Madrid but it was well worth it. As the saying goes: "Si mueres sin ver la Alhambra, no has vivido." Which means, if you die without seeing the Alhambra, you have not lived

| | Historic Centre of Cordoba, Spain Cordoba's masterpiece is undeniably the Mesquita, which is now a church in place of a very beatiful and distinctively different mosque during the Moorish era of Andalusia. The expanse of space under the roof coupled with the pillar arcs, makes the feeling unique. When we were there the roman bridge over the river was under restoration.
