One interesting aspect of Savannah architecture is the variety of artistic wrought iron gates scattered around the Historical District. Some are gates to patios and backyards, others cover front doors of historic houses. Many have some sort of theme, a certain flower or fruit, for example. I've posted several that I have found while wandering around. I'm not including their locations so as to not spoil the fun but if you'd like to know anyhow email me and I'll send them to you.
