Most mornings, Trotter and I start the day with a walk. We head down a dirt road with hardwoods and pines on all sides. |
|  | Brickyard Pond Before you know it, we've reached Brickyard Pond. In the spring, the Canadian geese are there with their goslings (nine this year); sometimes the swans will nest in the reeds. They aren't very hospitable. |
