this typical sport form the Achterhook is played with a "kloot" a ball that you have to throw (schieten) as far as possible along a particular track. Its played in teams. in each team in turns one persons throws the ball again. The team that can get the ball along the track with as least as possible times of throwing, wins

After each team has throw his own ball, the ball that went the less far is indicating that this team has to be the first to throw again. so, if each time you dont manage to get your ball far away along the track, you will have to use many times to trow, and that means you will loose.

The white team is far behind, the red team is at the second position, next aftre the blue team, which did the track in the least number of times trowing.
You have to trow the ball underhans, it is not suppose to be high in the air, the ball needs to roll. Since the track is full of curves, grass, and the quality of the path is changing. so each time of throwing requires another technique

Even though the track was only 2 kilomteres it is still 3hours of playing

during the game the fridge accomponies with cool soft drinks and beer.
