a long stroll to Santiago de Compostela & beyond

by kenHuocj - last update: Jun 23, 2009

a Catholic pilgrimage to the shrine of St. James

I'll be following The Camino Frances in September
That's the plan , hopefully within the next 18 months.
Provisionally Sept 2009,

Pilgrim's Prayer

St. James, Apostle
chosen among the first,
you were the first to drink
the cup of the Master,
and you were the protector of pilgrims;
make us strong in the faith
and happy in hope
on our pilgrims' journey
following the path of Christian life

the Prayer is from A novena from The Confraternity of Saint James
and feed us so that
we may finally reach the gory of God the Father.
Amen
the tracks of Arthur's Seat Hill in Edinburgh

progress till Monday 5.25.2009

Activity list of the Association québécoise des pèlerins et amis du Chemin de Saint-Jacques (AQPAC), notably the région de l'Outaouais across the river in Gatineau, I've been able to as an anglophone slowly immerse myself into the language of the Gauls and Quebeqois, via immersion.

Thanks for the B-Day greetings, dude! You needn't worry about the delay, as I'm not going to actually celebrate the event until I'm back in Canada this December. By then, you'll have marked another year on this planet yourself!

Bravo Ken, now relax in Montpellier, a fine city :) Last night I dreamed awake of doing the Camino again :) I miss the kindred souls met on the way. Happy homecoming!

Hi Ken, thanks for visiting my Grolloo page. I was there for a walk last month and saw with my own eyes the young tiny junipers.
