Kiyoko

by lifeisatrip - last update: Jan 22, 2009

She doesn't think she's a dog!

The most beautiful dog in the neighborhood!
Sometimes we call her Kokie. She is definitely a very loving dog. Loves her belly-rubs and tug-o-wars. She also looks forward to her treats coming back from her early morning walks. I cut a treat into small pieces and kind of hide them in different areas of the living and dining rooms. She loves searching for them, running back and forth and sniffing for them.
I am not hiding under the bed.

guten Morgen!

When she wakes up in the morning, she doesn't come out from under the bed right away. She slowly makes her way out, unless she hears the noise of the leash dangling, then she will come out happy and bouncy.
I am pooped! But I might miss something.

Let me up there!

Before she goes to bed, she has to come and snuggle with us in our bed to get more belly-rubs. But she wouldn't jump up unless invited. To get invited, she makes a specific sound for that purpose. Or she stands on her hind legs to look up on the bed.
Okay, I'm calling it a night.

Two beds

She has two beds in our bedroom. One under our bed and one close to the foot of the bed. Sometimes at night she goes to bed in the latter, but in the morning we find her under the bed. We can't figure out what makes her choose the one over the other.
Styling!

Let's go!

Kiyoko loves taking walks like I do. Once she sees me put walking shoes on, she gets really hyped up and starts nibbling on my pants or starts going around in circles making her noises. That's her way of communicating her excitement. When we put her coat on her, raincoat or wintercoat, she knows she's going for a walk. So she doesn't mind the coats at all. But put a shirt on her and she pouts the whole time. She will sulk under the table until I take her shirt off.
I can run faster than you!

Run, Kiyoko, run!

She can run fast, however, not fast enough to get a bird within her sight. She hasn't quite figured that out yet.
The saddest-looking dog

I am the saddest dog around . . . .

When she knows we are leaving without her, she looks really sad, which makes me feel guilty about leaving her.
I love belly-rubs

Oh please, rub my belly,

As any dog, Kiyoko loves belly-rubs. She rolls over then whines for it. If we stop rubbing her belly, she makes a specific sound and if we don't do her bidding right away, she gives us a little kick.

Tnx for dropping by. You should come back & explore RP. I myself is overwhelmed everytime I go around. Ganda nga pala talaga Pinas! =) The 1st thing I read on your HP was about the cute baby pictured above. Sad naman po, wala na pala sya. =(

Sylvia, glad you liked the jumping galleries! Would love to include you in it --- even if you have a pic with both feet on grounds but ARMS UP IN THE AIR is okay for the galleries...Thanks, Norman :)
