Roayl procession entering the Dobrichovice town and castle...
This is the the re-enactment of the ceremonial procession from 14th century. The story is that every year, Charles IV, the King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor, had the imperial coronation jewels transported from Karlštejn Castle to Prague, where they were displayed to the pilgrims coming from all over Europe to view them. Afterwards, the jewels were taken back by the Emperor to the safety of Karlštejn Castle and deposited again in the altar of the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
