The Cross Keys.

London pub.
A delightful, real English pub, next to 'Rock, Sole and Plaice'.Must say- it looked very tempting from outside.
The mapreader.

Jake.

Jake- the 8 year old grandson of Rex and Sacra- showing off his quickly learned skills of reading the London tube map!he'd barely been in London 24 hours:-)
Yummee!

The Menu.

'Rock, Sole and Plaice' is an old established London fish n chip restaurant, dating from 1871!
Great food, well served, by waiters, waitresses, who had to go up and down about 14 stairs to bring orders and huge jugs of iced water. It was very hot in that basement area of the pla(i)ce!
Mind that boat!

More guests at the 'do'

Pam,(Newcastle), Pete,(Oz), and Miranda, the Spanish connection:-)
We found it!

"Rock, Sole and Plaice"

What a delightful place,( enough 'plaice' jokes!) this was for a family meeting. Great food, great atmosphere- a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.
What did you say?

Sacra

Sacra- rex's wife, looking pensive. Worrying about that boat, no doubt?
In background, Pete, Miranda and have forgotten other lady's name- sorry. Will find out:-)
saying our goodbyes:-(

Outside the restaurant.

Rex- with that wonderful bag:-)
lovely lights:-)-Lovely people.

Farewells:-)

Miranda and Jen, under the Christmas lights lights- put on in honour of The great couple Rex and SacraJoke:-)

Hi Diana! We had a great sunny and warm day today, same for tomorrow. Marty is doing fine, he's been playing with his Legos today, we'll go for a walk tomorrow. How's little Oliver?
