Pure chance found us walking down a Oaxaca street one evening and running into this parade - university students celebrating the city's 400th anniversary.
The lighting provided by brilliant late afternoon sun behind us and heavy grey clouds in a bright blue sky was dramatic enough - add in the backdrop of a canary yellow building and the gorgeous colous of the costumes worn by the revellers - what a fabulous sight!
