Shane and Diana meet for coffee. To avoid confusion--I'm adding---This meet was at Waterloo Station in London.:-)
One of the best places for a VT meeting-He, he.
We decided that, as we were both in opposite ends of London and that Shane had had a bad leg- it would be easier for her just to get the train to Waterloo.
Mind you- we needn't have worried about her poorly leg--we didn't budge from our seats in the coffee bar!
We had a great vantage point- watching the world go by. We spotted a TV celeb, who disappeared into the gents, just near to us.
We then spotted him going in there again, after about 20 minutes!
I have to admit that we both thought naughty thoughts about why he returned there! LOL.
I enjoy having a funny thought to 'hang' on a meeting. No doubt we'll always think of that incident, when anyone mentions Waterloo!
Rather like my meeting in Richmond, where one of the group wore his pink rose for the whole evening and was even spotted in my local , 'all night' shop, wearing it later in the evening!
That was funny- as I'd gone in there on my way home, still wearing my pink pashmina--(it was all in honour of Elodie!),. The shop assistant complimented me on it and added that he'd seen a chap wearing a pink rose, rucked behind his ear. I told him that he'd been with me at my meeting.!
What a small, serendipity-ous world:-) |
