| Okyouzuka at the dawn of spring |
I thought it was time to add some new sakura (cherry blossom) photos to VT. The following 3 pages were all taken in the spring of 2008 during my merger journeys around Japan.
It was truly aw inspiring to spend a couple of days in Kyoto during the cherry blossom season. It seemed to workout where I could visit, see the sakura in full bloom, but miss the crowds. Not sure how I pulled that one off!
Unfortunately, Kanazawa seems to have a spell of bad weather, so I only went out about half a dozen times this year (not including Kyoto). I think I captured some great moments though, from the begining of the budding till the dire end.
