Dubai Retail joins The Walk as key sponsor for Dubai Shopping Festival 2009
Dubai Retail, a subsidiary of Dubai Properties Group and a member of Dubai Holding, today announced it will join with The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence as a key sponsor for the 14th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the annual retail and entertainment extravaganza that attracts millions of visitors from around the world to the emirat.
PRESS RELEASEOrganized by the Dubai Shopping Festival Office, (DSFO) from 15 January to 15 February, this year's DSF at The Walk will be marked by numerous family-oriented events at the pioneering waterfront destination with over 305 exquisite retail outlets, restaurants and cafes.
The beachfront retail avenue that stretches over 1.7km at Jumeirah Beach Residence will host performances by many renowned international artists including a 3D Street Painting act by Rod Tyron, Rangoli Rice by Vijaya Mojan, Macro Photography by Steve Took, Tire Art by Mirko Siakkou-Flodin, Rock Balancing by Reinhart Böhme, Metal Art by Johannes Pfeiffer, Sand Sculpting by Ricardo Alves-Ferreira and School class, Recycling Art & Prints. Musical performances, a comedy café, fashion show, kid's corner, fun fair and an open air cinema have also been lined up at The Walk that currently houses some of the top global retail brands.
