| Palau Nacional (National Palace) |
Palau Nacional (National Palace) Barcelonas Palau Nacional appears, at first glance, to be a very grand, old building. Looks can be deceiving! This sprawling structure that houses the National Art Museum of Catalonia was actually built in 1929 for the International Exhibition. |
Fundacio Antoni Tapies The Antonio Tapies Foundation is housed in a building designed by Domenech i Montaner in the 1880s. Catalonian artist Antonio Tapies launched the foundation in 1984 for the promotion and appreciation of contemporary art. On the facade is a tangle of coiled wire sculpture. Created in 1970, it is entitled Cloud and Chair. Inside is a collection of Antonio Tapies` work. There are also temporary exhibitions by other artists. Carrer d` Arago, Barcelona 08007 - Spain |

Placa Catalunya Placa Catalunya is a large square in central Barcelona that is generally considered to be both its city centre and the place where the old city and the 19th century-built Eixample meet. |
view from Barcelona Nice house with the gardens and stairways, what we've seen from the garden of Güell Park |
Columbus Monument At the center of the Square of the Gate of Peace (Placa de la Porta de Pau) stands a monumental column topped by a statue of Christoffel Columbus. The 60m high monument, known as the Monument a Colom, was designed by Gaietā Buigas i Monravā for the Universal exhibition of 1888. The 7m high statue shows a standing Columbus pointing towards the sea. Oddly enough, he is not pointing in the direction of the new world he discovered. The column can be visited, a lift brings you to a platform from where you have an excellent view over the Rambla and Port Vell. |
Sculpture on the roof I like this sculpture on the roof, what I found close to Casa Battlo |
| Street at the beach promenade |
Street at the beach promenade When we go to swim, there was nice street at the beach promenade with lot of palms. Don't laught at this, because for northern people as estonians, to see the palms in nature are still exotic like pines and piceas in nature for southern people. :) |
Flowering tree We saw one beautiful flowering tree, where was flowering only one bough. |
| Next one house with plants |
Next one house with plants House, where the plants are far from windows .... strange, how they watered them? |
